Dani is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA), holding BSc (Hons) and BSc degrees in Actuarial Science from the University of the Witwatersrand, where he was awarded the Liberty Life Gold Medal for Best Student in Actuarial Science III.
His grounding in the fundamentals came early, and it shows in how he approaches every case: methodically, and with an eye firmly on what will hold up under scrutiny.
Before Directing Vector Actuaries, Dani built his career valuing loss-of-earnings and loss-of-support claims and constructing financial models for some of South Africa’s largest institutions.
These experiences that gave him a front-row seat to just how much a poorly built assumption can cost a claimant down the line.
Today, his focus is squarely on litigation-grade actuarial work:
